So I owe you all a tonne
but doesn't look like anyone reads these
So I put it on back burner for a while.
Life is complicated, right now and for a while it's been "Lung infection with several other fleeting tinges of problems". Right now it's Lung infection with peripheral breathing based problems.
The writing is amazing, heart breaking and even without editing reasonably ready for people to do some exploratory work inside of. I broke 50k about four days ago and that was after taking a couple of break days due to health and other issues creeping in. I'm moving closer to 60k total now, but taking it easy as I have no need to rush at this point. The story is expanding and the characters are gaining some depth which is deeply appreciated even if inconvenient at some points. Skipped steampunks this week as I was too sick to walk to the store and back so I felt that staying home was most advisable.
My most excellent friend Karen is helping with the construction of a waist coat and while I'm learning by watching rather than getting to do it this time, we have both learned much about the process and some hilarious and small things cropped up today and yesterday.
Also we both learned that Karen has never seen Sherlock (BBC ) or the Jeremy Brett; Sherlock Holmes series ( also: BBC ) so as a result she watched almost all of Sherlock in the past two days and we did not get nearly enough sewing done.
Tomorrow is the Regency Society folks sewing evening so I'll be there with the machine and materials and hopefully a vest will get done tomorrow and I can look rather dashing for the weekend.
Theoretically going to help a friend from Seattle out this weekend with a Book opening, pretty excited for that.
Have posted excerpt for the NANO project entitled "The State of Health" on NANO website / my account. You can read it if you like, it's all pre-edits or as I started saying #Notanovemberproblem and #Decemberisforediting.
Loathe edits I do.
Anywho; my new addiction is Armored Warfare: a Post 40s vehicle combat game set as a sort of next step to the World of Tanks that I have long loved. It is a very different development layout to to gaining new vehicles, it also has some kind of story mode that is developing and a "base construction/ development" that is completely unlike WoT. The in game user Interface and references on screen are exceedingly handy to have, as well as their out of game user interfaces are exceptional very much in love with them.
