It's been a long time... But we're back in business here.

It's been a long time

But I'm back now, and there have been many changes since I was last here. I hope to keep this as a rather regularly updated blog. Different themes throughout the week days.

What to say for now?

Portland is too hot, Oregon and Washington and California are burning. There is hope of rain coming and helping stamp down the fires but who knows.

I fell in love, met a wonderful woman and for a time seemed to be doing pretty well.

That ended, my fault and much is my regret and despite that she is still an outstanding friend to me so that I am greatly thankful that I have her around to influence me. 

I had a job for a while which was ( A regular job with taxes and pay checks ) a good change but that also ended. And shortly after that I moved out for the first time, crazy right?  Was living with some friends for several months while doing some work with metal working, hope repair and wood cutting.

     Have had some other short term projects with various mostly minimal cash coming in, and due to some other considerations had to move out last month. Moved back to my old area which is much better for me in pretty much every respect, everything is where I know it to be for stores and buses and the like. Have a room, and a tidy little space where I keep mostly to myself when I'm not dashing out the door.

OOOOh: Pipes, making and selling exotic hardwood smoking pipes, so if you know someone who smokes come check out the work. Right now I have a tonne of pipes in different woods and styles and sizes but selling them to stores is a pretty slow affair as most only buy on a monthly basis.
Right now If you're in the Portland area drop me a message and I can in a lot of cases simply deliver one by hand rather than charge for postal delivery.

NANOWRIMO: Is still a thing, I'm waiting to hear if I am going to be the Portland Oregon ML for this year ! ( Here's hoping )

I am working on a great variety of story projects right now in bits and pieces, 

Looking for a job, right now yard work / helping fix up people's houses is the bulk of my income
(and at the present there is no income ) So shoot me a line friends if you need a hand.

I have been doing as much SteamPunk stuff as I can, though economic shortages have really cut this back in terms of events / outings and the like. I am hoping to start building some pieces to show case the work I can do, and will post some of my older exploits here soon.

Yes I'll post stuff about that periodically too, though most of my cysters are MUCH better prepared and set up to talk about it technically and specifically these days than I could. There are things going on all the time and I can only keep up with so much of them.

Anyhow that'll do it for now I suppose?
